I had intentions of posting this PRIOR to Valentine’s Day, but Lemonade and Lenses was so gracious to feature this session on their blog ON the big day of extra LOVE; so I thought I would wait.
Several weeks prior to V-Day I had this vision of shooting Ashley – as a Valentine.
The type of Valentine that is sexy, sultry, beautiful, fun, and warm.
I wanted more planning to go into this session and time passed me by – as usual.
We were going to push the session back, but Ashley was moving to NYC for a month – to work!
She pulled up in her big rig with a bag full of clothes, her gorgeous long locks, and was ready to go!
We were going to just “go with it” for this session.
No plan, just a vision.
Ashley is a model and she’s also a true Texas gal…meaning she LOVES to ride horses, drive her big ole’ truck and be in nature.
She rocked this session!
Absolutely EASY to photograph… as you can tell.
The sunset light was dreamy and warm, allowing this session to be full of emotion and beauty.
I am so grateful for this moment, capturing beauty all around.
.love.

Hi! I just read your post about newborn photography. Great tips! I love your work. Do you mind sharing what your favorite lens is for shooting newborns?
Thanks!

Thanks Rachel!
Definitely the 50mm 1.2, the 100mm macro, and the 35mm 1.4 for lifestyle shots! 🙂
