It is pretty cool when things work out perfectly…
You know, when a bride to be wants you to shoot their engagement photos, but they live in Austin.
Then you realize that in a couple of weeks from their inquiry you will be driving through Austin (or Marble Falls, to be 100% accurate) after shooting another engagement session down south?
I photographed one of Rachel’s friends a year and a half ago and was stoked when she decided to allow me to document their engagements.
This piece of land that was the backdrop for their session was to-die-for!
Marble Falls is a quaint town near Austin (aka: ATX) with beautiful scenery, cute shops, a famous pie shop and easy is to miss… if you aren’t looking for it.
Rolling hills, wispy grass, cacti, lavender skies, and a hint of a breeze allowed for a truly Texas engagement session.
I live for these shoots… they fill up my artistic soul.
