Oh this wedding, it is GORGEOUS.
From the bride and groom, to their wedding party, the event space and all of their AMAZING details.
Whitney has fantastic taste and with the help of the oh-so-talented Shannon Schultz Events this Fort Worth Zoo wedding was a hit!
The weather this year has been a little wonky and the weathermen have often been wrong.
It has also been a year of rain, in Texas. Which is such a blessing, just not what brides and grooms hope for. 🙂
I didn’t anticipate a big rain, but right when the ceremony started at Robert Carr Chapel – so did the showers.
Fortunately their reception was tented and was saved from the downpour.
Their reception is filled with sequins, gilded wild animals, a romantic sitting area, gorgeous flowers and vintage china.
I cannot brag enough about this lovely wedding!
You may also want to check out the Groom’s cake, made by the groom and groomsmen!
It’s the coolest I have ever seen.
By the time Whitney and Luke made it to the Fort Worth Zoo, the rain had stopped and a rainbow appeared over their tent!
The greatest thing the rain brings is life and energy!
I have to say the energy, love, fun, and beauty of this wedding was in full swing!
Whitney and Luke,
You two are just precious.
I (We, Paul and I) are so happy for the two of you.
It’s such an honor to call you guys friends.
May God continue to bless your union – and keep your hearts full!
Thank you so much for allowing me to document such an important chapter in your book of life.
.love.

These are STUNNING! What a cool wedding and I love how you used the rain and reflections. Also. . .the rings/invites on what I assume may be a bathroom floor (looks like old house vintage tile to me) — very cool!

Thank you Jenn, it was just lovely. That is vintage tile in the bride’s home and I knew I had to use it the moment I walked in! 🙂
